SIX-YEAR-OLD T. Hemendraa, who is suffering from brain dysfunction, is need of financial assistance to support his medical treatment.
Bukit Gelugor MP Ram Karpal Singh, who visited the boy’s family, urged the public to give some contributions to the family so that they could seek proper medical treatment for Hemendraa.
“His condition is quite serious. He can be treated but he cannot speak and physically, he is not in good shape.
“The effective treatment is in Kuala Lumpur (General Hospital) which they cannot afford to proceed with due to financial constraint. They went for treatment over there three years ago.
“K. Tharmendaren (the boy’s father) told me that, the boy’s plight was conveyed through the social media (Facebook), and following that nearly RM5,000 was collected.
“I hope that the public will come forward to help the family anyway they can,” said Ram when he visited Hemendraa’s family on April 14.
During the visit, Ram contributed RM3,000 to the family to help them with the boy’s medical treatment.
