Bukit Tambun rep commits to continued service

BUKIT Tambun assemblyman Goh Choon Aik vowed to continue to do his best for the people and the state.

 

“Thank you for trusting me. Rest assured, I am fully committed to doing my best for another five years as your elected representative,” he said during a special appreciation dinner for Bukit Tambun PKR election machinery at Fu Hotel in Juru this evening.

 

Goh also thanked his team for working tirelessly during the election campaign.

 

Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow congratulated Goh again for his landslide victory in the recently concluded state election.

 

“I want to also congratulate Goh’s team for working tirelessly to ensure his victory.

 

“Goh has implemented many initiatives at his Bukit Tambun constituency over the last five years. His excellent performance has benefitted many people.

 

“As a result, he managed to secure a huge win with a 17,175 majority in the recently concluded state election compared with the election in 2018 when he won with a 14,880 majority.

 

“This amazing feat is not easy to achieve unless with a true determination to serve the people.

 

“And I hope he will continue his excellent performance for his second term as the Bukit Tambun elected representative,” he said.

 

Also present at the appreciation dinner were state Local Government, Town and Country Planning Committee chairman Jason H’ng Mooi Lye and state Housing and Environment Committee chairman Datuk Seri Sundarajoo Somu, Bukit Tengah assemblyman Gooi Hsiao-Leung, Batu Uban assemblyman Kumaresan Arumugam and national DAP chairman Lim Guan Eng, who is also the Air Putih assemblyman and Bagan MP.
