GET ready for a power-packed fun night next month.
In conjunction with the Independence Day, the LOL Events will present ‘The POMPuan Show’.
The show is directed by Malaysia’s top women comedians Joanne Kam and Shamaine Othman.
It also features award winning singer, actress and musical theatre performer Tria Aziz, songbird Chelsia Ng as well as rising comedy star Filzah Azmi.
The show, which will be celebrating independent women, will take place at PenangPAC on Aug 9 and 10 and Kuala Lumpur on Aug 31.
The POMPuan show, which is specially written, directed and performed by women, is set to entertain audience through stand-up comedy, sketch and song parodies.
LOL Events chief executive officer Rizal Kamal said women played a pivotal role by their sacrifices and contributions in shaping our society.
“There isn’t a better way than comedy to celebrate the driving force of independence – both for Malaysia and women,” he said.
