Companies chip in to help frontliners and the needy

FRONTLINERS and the needy are never forgotten as the state, private companies and non-governmental organisations continuously offer their help.

 

Here are some of the industry players who have aided our heroes and the underprivileged during this challenging period.

 

Advanced Energy contributed facemasks to the Penang Island City Council, Royal Malaysian Customs and the Royal Malaysia Police frontliners. The company has also worked with KEMAS to sew PPE for frontliners.

 

HP contributed 28,000 units of N95 face mask, 100,000 units of face mask, 25,000 latex gloves, 35,000 nitrile gloves, 400 bottles of hand sanitiser, 100 units of 3D printing mask adjuster and 100 units of 3D printing door opener to Penang government, MBPP, MBSP and Penang Hospital.

 

Texchem contributed 400 face shields to InvestPenang and other government agencies.

 

Intel donated electrocardiogram (ECG) units to Sungai Bakap Hospital, Balik Pulau Hospital and Seberang Jaya Hospital; and 50 packs of essential food items to underprivileged families of students studying at SMK Munshi Abdullah.
