ENVIRONMENTAL issues were the main topic of discussion when Denmark’s ambassador to Malaysia Jesper Vahr paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow at the latter’s office in Komtar today.

They exchanged ideas on green agenda such as economic development with ecological sustainability and food waste management.

Also present were the embassy’s deputy head of mission Jesper Stig Andersen and honorary consul Lio Chee Yeong.

Later, Vahr presented Chow with a souvenir book, while Chow reciprocated by presenting Vahr with a mini model of a trishaw.
