DHL pledges to pull in quality investments to Penang

DHL Express Malaysia is committed to bring in more foreign investments to Penang through its multinational customers.

DHL Express Malaysia and Brunei managing director Julian Neo said the logistics company has a customer base of more than 200 multinational companies.

“We have a very close relationship with our global customers, so I am positive that we can work together to make this work. We would also like to collaborate with the government agencies,” Neo told Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow during a courtesy visit at his office in Komtar today.

Neo was accompanied by DHL Express Malaysia (Business Development and Strategy) Northern Area head Calvin Oh.

Chow thanked DHL Express Malaysia for its intention and said the state government was willing to assist and support the logistics company in any way possible.

During the visit, Neo also briefed Chow on the company’s structure, achievements, growth and future plan.
