MANY families took the opportunity to spend some quality time together by enjoying the classical music by a well-known pianist at the ‘Come Play With Me: A Piano Concert for Families’ at the Loft 29, Church Street Ghaut in George Town recently.
Organised by the George Town Festival (GTF), the hour-long classical music session was presented by award-winning international pianist Dr Esther Shin Chuang on July 12. It was designed for all ages.
Many were mesmerised by her classical and modern piano music. Among the audience was Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, who was also impressed with Dr Esther’s lively renditions. Chow also received a souvenir from her during the event.
Admission to the concert was free for those who have pre-registered.
Also present was George Town World Heritage Incorporated (GTWHI) general manager Dr Ang Ming Chee.
