Yew said the Penang Island City Council had issued a warning letter to HeiTech Padu Berhad and was waiting for an explanation letter from the company before taking any further action.
“It is not only about the delay. The company must deliver what they have promised, and that includes several other features in the app,” Yew said.
Rozali commented that HeiTech Padu Berhad should treat this matter as a lesson to perform better.
Meanwhile, Jagdeep hoped that the matter can be solved soonest possible.
“We hope that the company will work diligently to ensure that the project takes off as planned.
“The project will help propel Penang to be a smart state,” he said.
