THE 15th General Election (GE15) is a golden opportunity for Pakatan Harapan to achieve whatever that could not be done during its 22 months of administration.

Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, who is the Batu Kawan parliamentary candidate, said this during the first day of his walkabout at the Batu Kawan parliamentary constituency.

“Our message for this GE15 is that this is our golden opportunity to continue the things that we could not achieve during Pakatan Harapan’s 22 months of administration.

“There is a lot more to prove if we (Pakatan Harapan) are given the mandate.

“We are receiving overwhelming response from the public which would serve as an encouragement for us to work harder,” Chow said after distributing the New Year’s calendar at Pasar Bakap Indah this evening.

Chow, who was accompanied by Jawi assemblyman Jason H’ng Mooi Lye and a group of Pakatan Harapan supporters, was greeted warmly by the visitors and traders at the night market.

Earlier, Chow visited residents and shop owners in Kampung Valdor, Bukit Tambun, for a quick greet-and-meet session, as well as distributed 2023 calendars to them.

Chow also visited another neighbourhood under the Batu Kawan parliamentary constituency, Taman Sri Aman, during the walkabout.

Apart from that, Chow visited the Persatuan Penganut Dewa Kuan Yin Hoot Chor in Sungai Bakap today.

Over there, Deputy Chief Minister II Prof Dr P. Ramasamy, Bukit Tambun Goh Choon Aik and Komtar assemblyman Teh Lai Heng were also present.

Before his walkabout, Chow submitted his nomination form for the Batu Kawan parliamentary seat as well as launched the Pakatan Harapan service centre at Jalan Chain Ferry in Taman Chai Leng, Seberang Perai.
