THE AirAsia Battle of the Year Malaysia 2015 will provide a platform for local young dancers to show their talents and learn from each other, thus making a great impact on the healthy youth movement in the country.
The Penang state government will always give its full support for healthy and meaningful projects that are beneficial for youth’s development.
“We are giving sponsorship of RM5,000 towards the championship,” exco for Youth & Sports, Women, Family and Community Development Chong Eng said at the cheque presentation function at Komtar on July 3.
Also present were Battle of the Year Malaysia 2015 organising chairman Lim Chin Aun (Tarzan) and AirAsia’s Kenneth Tan.
This year, the Malaysia qualification for Battle of the Year will be held at Central Atrium Queensbay
Mall, Penang, on Aug 8 from 12pm to 6pm.
So far, the 13 teams registered are from Kuala Lumpur, Alor Star, Sarawak and Penang.
There will be one judge each from the USA,Korea and Taiwan and the deejay is from Vietnam.
Flight tickets of the judges and deejay will be sponsored by AirAsia.
The judges are Iron Monkey (USA), Zero Nine(Korea) and Bo Jin (Taiwan), while the deejay is Slowz (Vietnam) and master of ceremony is Spritez (Penang).
The winning team of AirAsia Battle of the Year Malaysia 2015 will qualify for the Battle Of The Year South Asia 2015 in Singapore.
