EXCO member for Youth & Sports, Women, Family and Community Development Chong Eng conceded that it was no mean feat to climb a total of 1,217 steps in the ninth edition of The Top Komtar Tower Run 2017 event which took place on Dec 3.

Climbing the stairs to reach level 59 of Komtar, according to her, required not only physical fitness but mental strength as well.

“I’m most impressed with the toughness of all the participants. This is because before the staircase segment of the event, each participant had to run 7km beforehand,” she said in her speech.
