“Education is the cornerstone of progress and development, and it is heartening to see Metaverse Universal College and Inma Development join hands to create a dedicated and modern infrastructure tailored to meet the specific needs of our future Hotel Management professionals.

“The field of Hotel Management is dynamic and requires a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. By forging this collaboration, we are not just creating a physical space but laying the foundation for an environment that nurtures innovation, fosters excellence, and prepares our students for the challenges of the ever-evolving hospitality industry.

“In today’s fast-paced world, where technology and trends shape the landscape of every industry, educational institutions must stay ahead of the curve. This collaboration signifies a commitment to providing our students with an education that is not only academically rigorous but also aligned with the demands of the contemporary job market,” Lim said in her speech.

Formerly known as Ri-Yaz College, MVUC has been at the forefront of education for over 16 years, and this partnership signifies a significant leap forward in its commitment to student success and holistic development.

Under the terms of this ground-breaking agreement, MVUC is set to establish a strategic alliance with VOS, offering a unique and immersive learning environment for its students. This facility will serve as an extension of the college, providing students with the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting.

One of the key highlights of this collaboration is the integration of practical work experience into the academic curriculum. MVUC students will not only gain access to a state-of-the-art facility but will also have the chance to gain hands-on experience working within VOS. This strategic move aligns with MVUC’s vision of producing graduates who not only excel academically but also possess the practical skills necessary for success in the professional arena.

VOS, as part of the agreement, will have the liberty to engage and recruit students, further solidifying the symbiotic relationship between the college and the industry. This unique approach ensures that students receive a well-rounded education that combines academic rigour with practical application, making them stand out in a competitive job market.

“We believe in offering more than just theoretical knowledge. We aim to differentiate ourselves by providing our students with real-world experience while they are still studying,” said Dr Quah.

“This collaboration signifies a major milestone for MVUC and VOS, and we look forward to expanding it even further when the time is right.”

Ooi said Inma Development Sdn Bhd is driven by the conviction that every individual, regardless of background or circumstance, deserves the opportunity to access quality education.

“As we embark on this journey with MVUC, we embrace the responsibility of providing not only financial resources and development expertise but also the assurance that the facilities we create will be conducive to fostering learning environments where every student can thrive.

“It is a commitment to breaking down barriers and ensuring that education becomes a gateway to opportunities for all, echoing the sentiment that no one should be denied the chance to pursue knowledge and fulfil their potential,” Ooi said.
