BOTANICA Mansion, an English mansion built in the early 1880s and was restored to be a clubhouse will soon have an added feature within its premises – a mini superfruit orchard!

Three local companies – JT F&B Group, Goche Corporation and Ironman Trading – have initiated the ‘JT Superfruits’.

JT Superfruits is an initiative to produce superfruits such as figs, gac fruits and finger limes in Penang.

Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow was delighted to witness the achievement.

“Many locals are not aware that these fruits can be produced locally as they are typically grown on foreign soil.

“This mini orchard will be an added attraction in Balik Pulau. It will also serve as an awareness centre for the local production of superfruits in Penang.
