OVER 100 orphanage and underprivileged children in Penang experienced early Christmas joy in a heartwarming event led by Rose Charities Malaysia, Pertubuhan Wanita Mutiara, and sponsored by Hompton by the Beach.

The children were gifted school bags and Christmas goodies in a gesture of kindness and festive spirit.

The children hail from various charitable institutions, including The Salvation Army Penang Children Home, Penang Shan Children’s Home Association, Penang Down Syndrome Association, The Cerebral Palsy (Spastic) Children’s Association, The Ramakrishna Ashrama, and Pertubuhan Rumah Kebajikan Seri Cahaya Pulau Pinang.

Pertubuhan Wanita Mutiara president Tan Lean Kee expressed her honour in collaborating with Rose Charities Malaysia, commending its dedication to community service.

During the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Hompton by the Beach, Tan emphasised the impact of such events on the lives of the children and praised the organising team.
