“The momentum is picking up although it was raining for the past few days.

“The crowd turned up in droves and listened to our ceramahs.

“I hope the voters, particularly from the Bukit Bendera parliamentary constituency, can vote wisely this Saturday.

“Let us continue to work hard,” he told his Harapan comrades during the ceramah session at the Mount Erskine Market today.

Chow pointed out that the voters could play an integral role on polling day.

“The response has been positive so far and we will continue to do our best,” he said.

Other speakers during the ceramah were Bukit Bendera parliamentary candidate Syerleena Abdul Rashid, Tanjung Bungah assemblyman Zairil Khir Johari, former Bukit Bendera MP Wong Hon Wai, and Jelutong parliamentary camdidate R.S.N. Rayer.

Earlier, Chow was present at a ceramah in Sungai Jawi.

There, he spoke about the importance of Batu Kawan and how it plays a major role in contributing towards Penang’s robust economy.

“Batu Kawan is the industrial corridor of Penang.

“Apart from the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone on the island, our focus now is to further strengthen the industrial arm here in Seberang Perai, particularly in Batu Kawan,” Chow, who is the Penang Chief Minister, said.

Separately, Chow said that the GE15 is not just about individual candidates winning their respective seats but also a collective effort by the people to deny power to the Barisan Nasional and Perikatan Nasional coalitions.

Also present during the ceramah were Datuk Keramat assemblyman Jagdeep Singh Deo, Jawi assemblyman H’ng Mooi Lye, Bukit Tambun assemblyman Goh Choon Aik and Bukit Tengah assemblyman Gooi Hsiao-Leung.
