Penang has its attractions to bring in investors, says Ramasamy

THE TF AMD partnership will contribute a significant growth in attracting foreign investments to Penang.

This new landmark – TF AMD new wing will enhance the company’s future undertaking for expansion and business growth.

Deputy Chief Minister II Prof Dr P. Ramasamy said when officiating the TF AMD New Wing opening ceremony at Bayan Lepas this morning.

He added that Penang has its own attractions to attract investors.

“This will be further enhanced now that we are under one ruling government, ” he added.

Also present were TF AMD corporate vice president/general manager Neoh Soon Ee, and AMD chief financial officer Datuk Davinder Kumar and the group’s chief operating officer YC Lee.

Meanwhile, Lee said the opening of the new wing today marks a new milestone in the company’s quest to accommodate more request from existing and new customers.

“We are also assisting and working together with them to grow and expand our resources, in line with the corporate’s theme of ‘Sayangi Malaysia Ku’,” he stressed.

Guests present at the function were also taken for a tour of the company manufacturing facilities.

April 29th of 2016, marks the date when TFME have closed the transaction of acquiring 85% share of AMD’s Suzhou and AMD Penang.

TFME is acting as controlling partner for the two new joint ventures: TF-AMD.

– FCPGAs – Test Services.
