THE second sequel of charity ballet and dance performance, is organised by Pointe Art Academy.
Event will have more than 14 amazing classical and contemporary ballet dances, performed by the academy’s 120-student troupe. Ticket is priced at RM60 for ordinary ticket, VIP ticket at RM130 and student at RM30 only.
“I am very enlightened and proud as this charity event is organised by a group of dynamic youths, many of whom in particular, are female members with social-minded responsibilities at heart, with part of the proceeds from the event to be channeled to a non-profit ornagisation called The BOLD Association,” exco for Youth and Sports, Soon Lip Chee said at a press conference to announce the event at Komtar this morning.
Also present were US Pizza Malaysia’s operations manager, Steven Phang, director of Bold Association, Tan Liok Ee and event organising chairperson, Leow Pei Hueh.
Soon said on behalf of the Youth and Sports Committee, he is proud to announce a token of appreciation of RM5,200 to the event, in support of the passionate towards the art and their goodwill.
“I urge the public to be concern towards the Bold Association,” he commented.
Meanwhile, Leow said ballet could be something very elegant, beautiful (and boring too!) for some who dont really like classical, but this won’t happen in this show.
With all the innocent children performers around, the audiences will definitetly be entertained.
“The event called ‘Spread Love Through Rhythm 2018,’ it is a charity dance performance, which will be held on Dec Dec 1 at 7.00pm at Dewan Sri Pinang in George Town.
It is organised and presented by Pointe Art Academy, a Royal Academy of Dance, London-certified ballet dance academy situated at Jalan Kampung Benggali in mainland Butterworth.
Sponsored by the state government, the event will have more than 14 amaxing classical and contemporary ballet dances, performed by the academy’s 120-student troupe.
Leow added the 2nd sequel’s objective is to promote the concept of ‘children helping children.’
“The performance will be carried out by the students from our school, to raise funds for the children with special needs.
“As part of gives back to the society, Pointe Art Academy hopes to use our talents to carry out our charity ballet performance to raise fun for the children of the Bold Association, therefore proceeds from the ordinary ticket selling will be donated to the Bold Association, “ commented Leow.
