SOME 150 entrepreneurs will be dressed in their best 70s and 80s style on Oct 5 when they celebrate WomenBizSENSE’s 13th anniversary at Olive Tree Hotel in Bayan Baru with a fundraiser dinner and dance event.
Although it is a women entrepreneur association, the Penang-based WomenBizSENSE will also for the first time ever open this event to men.
Themed ‘Retro Night: Back to the 70s & 80s’, the fundraiser dinner and dance presents British DJ, Carl Hinds, who promises to spin the hottest tunes of the 70s and 80s to get everyone on the dance floor!
The fundraiser dinner and dance event aims to raise more money this year to support the bus fares for the children of House of Hope.
WomenBizSENSE, which has been sponsoring the children’s entire year’s bus fares since 2015, hopes to continue doing so for even more children to enable them to attend school.
The fundraiser dinner and dance will include Best Dressed prizes, lucky draw prizes and an opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs.
The dinner will also feature a fashion showcase featuring Malaysian brand Farfalla shoes and Amee Philips. The event will be emceed by Penang’s trilingual emcee, Joanne Tan.
The grand lucky draw prize will be from AMEE versatile collection value at RM5,000 sponsored by Amee Philips.
