THE Buddhist Tzu-Chi Merits Society Malaysia has contributed four single-seater hemodialysis sofas to the Penang CAT Dialysis Centre (southwest) in Balik Pulau here.
The society’s commissioner in Penang, Datuk Khoo Boo Leong, said Tzu-Chi was concerned for the needs of the patients who are seeking treatment at the centre.
“We received an appeal from the centre to replace the hemodialysis sofas which are old and damaged.
“We hope that with the new sofas, the patients can undergo their treatment comfortably and feel at ease,” he told Buletin Mutiara today.
The sofas were delivered to the centre this morning.
