IN an effort to promote a healthy lifestyle and environmental sustainability, the Seri Delima state constituency service centre, in collaboration with the Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) Penang branch, will jointly organise the 2025 VegRun.

It is a 5km fun run scheduled for July 5 at the Greenlane Japanese Garden, Taman Guan Joo Seng. The event will flag off at 7am.

“The registration fee is RM50, which includes a runner’s shirt and a finisher medal for all participants.

“We are targeting at least 200 participants, but we are optimistic the number will exceed expectations,” she said during a press conference on May 31.

She also noted that all proceeds from the event will be channelled to BLIA Penang branch to support their various welfare activities across the state.
