THE Penang International Travel Exchange (PITE) 2021 Digital Show is officially open today.
Owned by the Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB), the virtual business events trade show is now being held virtually for the second year.
PITE 2021 Digital Show is organised by Penang-based professional conference organiser (PCO) ACE Conferences & Exhibitions. The official media partner is Travel Industry Network (TIN) Media.
The virtual travel exchange has attracted over 400 buyers and trade visitors from 30 countries. There are also 41 exhibitors from Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and Sarawak.
PCEB chief executive officer Ashwin Gunasekeran said the virtual trade show would be focusing on four different regions this year.
“The virtual travel exchange will focus on the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions on Oct 25 and 26, and on the the Europe and United Kingdom regions on Oct 28 and 29,” he said.
He added that Tropical Spice Garden is the official streaming hub for PITE 2021 Digital Show.
Aside from the exciting launch of the virtual trade show, PCEB also slotted in a short launch of its new global campaign ‘BElong in Penang’.
Interested trade visitors can register for the PITE 2021 and get unlimited virtual walk-in meets with exhibitors.
Visitors can also gain access to knowledge sessions and virtual product showcases besides the networking lounge.
