The landmark development was officially unveiled yesterday (Sept 24) by the Raja Muda of Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, who also serves as the chairman of Westfield Global Sdn Bhd, during a ceremony at the project’s sales gallery along Gurney Drive.

He was accompanied by the Raja Puan Muda of Perlis Tuanku Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil.

The launch was also attended by Marriott International vice-president of Hotel Development, Asia Pacific, Andree Susilo, Westfield Global Sdn Bhd managing director Datuk Yeoh Yih Sean and Westfield Global Sdn Bhd directors Datuk Loh Kian Chong, Datuk Lim Kean Seng and Datuk Yaep Chin Yee.

In a statement issued during the event, Yeoh highlighted that the project builds upon the success of Westfield’s earlier collaborations with Marriott International, including the Penang Marriott Hotel and Marriott Residences.

He revealed that Westin Residences Penang has already achieved a 75% take-up rate since its soft launch, reflecting robust market confidence.

“This encouraging response is a clear testament to the growing demand for branded residences that offer not only an elevated lifestyle but also the assurance of services under a trusted global brand,” Yeoh said.

The residences feature a diverse selection of unit types ranging from 1,033 sq ft to 3,670 sq ft, with prices starting from RM2,000 per sq ft.
