THE Japanese Consulate team comprising its consul-general in Penang, Shinichiro Kanoya and ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Japan to Malaysia, Makio Miyagawa this morning made a courtesy call on Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow at Komtar.
The Japanese team took the opportunity to congratulate Chow on his appointment as the new Chief Minister.
They also expressed their wish that the Chief Minister will take Penang to greater heights in the near future.
