KEBUN BUNGA assemblyman Jason Ong Khan Lee today distributed festive cookies to the frontliners in his constituency.
A total of 120 jars of Hari Raya cookies were presented to representatives of the frontliners from the district office, Padang Tembak Health Clinic and Padang Tembak police station, as an appreciation for their services in the state’s fight against Covid-19.
“This token of appreciation is to honour the doctors, nurses and police personnel for the tireless efforts to ensure public health and safety.
“I would also like to thank the sponsors,” said Ong, who was accompanied by JPWK chairman Pang Yuen Khim and her group members.
Later, Ong also officiated the installation of anti-bacterial copper sheets at Block C lifts of Taman Bukit Erksine in Mount Erksine.
He said the new copper sheets would also help reduce wear and tear of the lifts’ buttons.
