YESTERDAY (Sept 11) assemblymember for Tanjung Bungah Zairil Khir Johari and his team made their rounds at the Batu Ferringhi market in the early morning and evening and also to the night market there to distribute moon cakes to hawkers and residents.
The total amount of mooncakes given out is about 880 pieces. Overall, some 1500 mooncakes were prepare for the mid autumn festival which fall on coming Sept 26.
During his rounds, Zairil who is also the exco for Public Works, Utilities & Flood Mitigation were accompanied by MBPP councillor, Kaliyappan a/l P. Renganathan and members of JKKK Batu Ferringhi and Tanjung Bungah.
