THE management corporation (MC) and residents of Medan Ria apartment in Datuk Keramat have been praised by Penang Local Government, Housing, Town, and Country Planning Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo for completing the painting works of their buildings.
Jagdeep said that the painting of the two blocks was completed a few days ago.
“They have done it on their own effort. When you take care of your housing scheme, manage your funds and collections well, you can achieve this.
“This is good, and it happened in Datuk Keramat. Thank you, Medan Ria,” he told a media conference in Medan Ria apartment today.
Jagdeep said the cost of the painting works was about RM287,000.
“As the Datuk Keramat assemblyman, I would like to contribute 10% of the cost, or about RM28,000, to assist Medan Ria,” he said.
Jagdeep also reminded the people to continue complying with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) to minimise the spread of Covid-19.
