IT was a fruitful gathering for 150 participants from 30 state agencies when a team building lab on the Penang2030 vision was held at Hotel Jen today.
The participants, divided into four groups, not only listened to the four different themes of the Penang2030 vision but also contributed ideas. The vision, launched by Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow last August, is to build a ‘Family focused Green and Smart State that Inspires the Nation’.
Several engagement exercises were held much earlier for stakeholders both on the island and mainland, State Secretariat personnel, state executive councillors, Members of Parliament and State Assembly, and heads of departments and heads of agencies.
Today’s engagement session was coordinated by Oh Chin Eng and Teh Yee Teng (Penang2030 Unit), Ong Siou Woon (Penang Institute), Nicole Thum (Think City) and K. Vishanthini (Advisory team member).
