MORE than 150 people were yesterday treated to a fruit feast organised by the service centre of Air Itam assemblyman Joseph Ng.
The people, who came to indulge in durian, rambutan, and cempedak, consisted of Penang Island City Council (MBPP) workers, enforcement officers and Northeast district office personnel.
Volunteers assisting in serving the Air Itam and Air Putih constituencies and a team from Buletin Mutiara were also there to enjoy the feast.
Ng said the fruit party was to appreciate the people who have worked tirelessly to ensure a better community.
“We want to show our gratitude as all of them have given their full commitment when discharging their duties,” he said.
