THRILLING news for fans of legendary Indian singer Hariharan as the man himself is set to make a live appearance in a meet-and-greet session with his fans at Little India (Arch area) on Jan 3, 2024, in George Town.
This is understood to be part of the two-time National Award winner’s upcoming live concert scheduled to take place at Setia SPICE Arena on Feb 17, 2024.
The concert organiser is Hello Creative, an event management company based in Penang.
Its founder and chief executive officer S. Sivamani, when contacted, said that approximately 500 guests are expected to be present during the meet-and-greet event, which will be followed by a media conference.
“The main objective of this event is to allow all his fans to meet and greet him in person just before the live concert in February next year.
“This is going to be truly an iconic programme as Hariharan will also be officially visiting Penang for the first time, a state that I believe a lot of his fans reside in too,” Sivamani said during a phone interview today.
Radio personality Kavimaran, also known as Maaran, who works for THR Raaga, a local Tamil radio station, is expected to emcee the event.
Another exciting news for Tamil cinema fans is that a famous Indian actor and comedian, M. Sathish, will be making a special guest appearance during the event on Jan 3 next year.
Meanwhile, Sivamani also stated that fans can expect many exciting activities on that day, such as live performances of songs by Hariharan, games and a booth to purchase tickets for the concert.
