SOME 100 people attended the Let’s Pink – Awareness Campaign for Breast Cancer, held on October 21 at Bukit D.O Bukit Mertajam.
The event held from 8.30am to 12.00 noon was graced by exco for Women & Family Development, Gender Equality and Religion other than Islam, Chong Eng.
Also present were awareness campaign’s director, Sharifah Aqilah Syed Azlan and its secretary, Nur Izzati Hanani.
Attendees were treated to an aerobic session and free health checks at the program organised by Wanita IKRAM Bukit Mertajam.
The program aims at improving public awareness on breast cancer, creating awareness that exercise is one of the aspect of healty living and bringing together the local community, besides introducing IKRAM Malaysia to the public.
