A GROUP of media practitioners had the opportunity to gain an exclusive look at the services offered by Gleneagles Hospital Penang through an interactive session known as the ‘Metaverse Health Hunt & Media Tour’, held recently at the hospital.
The session began with a metaverse health hunt, a virtual activity that allowed participants to explore different areas of the hospital in an engaging and interactive way. The activity aimed to raise awareness of the hospital’s services by using digital tools in a fun and informative format.
The session also saw several participants walking away with attractive prizes.
Taking home the first prize, a 2-day, 1-night stay for two at DoubleTree by Hilton Penang, were Sim Fong Hau, founder of Sport We Play, and Hanisma, a producer from RTM.
The second prize, a ‘Health Screening Elite Package’ worth RM720, was awarded to Nurul Zaadah, an influencer, and Nuan Ning from Penang Monthly.
Third prize winners, receiving buffet vouchers worth RM250 each from Marriott Hotel, were Munirah and Fairuz, both influencers.
Following the virtual segment, members of the media were brought on a guided walk-through of the hospital’s key departments, where they learned more about the hospital’s daily operations, medical technology, and patient care services.
Gleneagles Hospital Penang’s acting chief executive officer Ng Boog Seng expressed his appreciation to the media for their continued support and emphasised the importance of staying connected with the public through innovative approaches.
Also present were head of sales and marketing S. Shyamsunder, senior sales and marketing manager Aileen Foo, and members of the Gleneagles team.
