OFA thanks Penang govt for being supportive

THE Old Frees’ Association (OFA) expressed its gratitude to the state government for the support towards the association.

OFA president Lee Eu Beng introduced the association committee members to Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow during a courtesy visit today.

They spoke about the state’s industrial development and the Penang Digital Library.

“We are looking forward to the association’s centennial celebration on 2023,” Lee said.

The committee members of OFA paying a courtesy call on Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow at his office in Komtar.

He also briefed Chow on the roles of the association.

“We are helping to improve the academic standards of the school,” he added.

Association vice-president Andrew Lim appealed to Chow to help address a matter concerning parasitic attack on trees in the school compound.

Chow thanked the association for their visit and said he would look into the matter.
