CHIEF Minister Chow Kon Yeow today told reporters that the state will propose to dissolve its State Legislative Assembly on June 28 this year.
He also said the proposed date will be brought to the attention of the Penang Governor, Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak, before the official announcement can be made.
“We will make the arrangements to inform the Penang Governor about this and will soon inform the official date to dissolve the Legislative Assembly,” Chow said after attending the Wacana Ilmu Education Appreciation launching ceremony at Convention 33 at Prangin Mall today.
When asked about the latest seat negotiations update with Barisan Nasional, Chow said the matter was being dealt with at the national level now.
