Property developer donates face masks and hand sanitisers

PROPERTY developer Asas Dunia Berhad has contributed 60,000 medically certified masks and 800 bottles of hand sanitisers to be given out to the frontliners in Penang.

 

Managing director Datuk Jerry Chan said the company was happy to donate the essential items to those in need.

 

“The Chief Minister has told to consider the health of everyone. This is a small part that we can do to help.

 

“We are happy to be part of the Penang Lawan Covid-19 campaign,” he said after presenting the items to the state government in Komtar today.

With him were Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, Komtar assemblyman Teh Lai Heng and Asas Dunia executive director Chan Fook Sun.

 

Chow thanked Asas Dunia for its contribution and said that the items would be distributed to the frontliners, including those in the Penang Hospital and other agencies.

“We are glad that we are able to make the essential items available to the frontliners with the support from the public. We are able to support their needs at this moment.

 

“We are getting good support from the community,” Chow said.
