PENANG Pakatan Harapan will be playing its role in line with the decision made at the national level, coalition chairman Chow Kon Yeow said.
Chow responded when asked about today’s agreement signing ceremony of political parties and coalitions in the unity government led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. The agreement stipulated, among others, the commitment to work together until the end of this Parliament term.
“As for Penang, we will play our role in line with the decision made at the national level. We are still awaiting instructions. I believe that there is an intention to have an understanding (with Barisan Nasional) in Penang.
“However, more discussions must be held to discuss the cooperation mechanisms,” he said.
