OVER 400 attendees are expected to attend the 3rd Annual AIM Asia Week 2026 at the Iconic Majorie Hotel in Penang on Sept 29-30.
Advanced Innovation & Manufacturing (AIM) Asia chairperson Renee Tan said the target audience comprises professionals from the advanced manufacturing sector, including semiconductors, E&E, medical technology and chemicals, across all functions.
She said if Asia is to lead the next era of manufacturing, it must transform with purpose, speed and collaboration.
“As Asia’s manufacturing sector faces growing pressure to stay resilient, competitive and sustainable, the need for stronger collaboration has never been greater,” she said after moderating the AIM Asia CXO Forum 2026 Penang at Tech Dome Penang today.
“That is why the 3rd Annual AIM Asia Week 2026 will bring together manufacturers, innovators, government representatives and investors from across the region to exchange ideas, forge partnerships and accelerate the transformation of advanced manufacturing, under this year’s theme: ‘Sustainable Future Manufacturing Transformation: Human Capital, AI & Innovation.’”

Deputy Chief Minister II Jagdeep Singh Deo, who will be the guest of honour at the upcoming event, said the state government is always ready to facilitate and support efforts to ensure the event’s success.
In his address at the forum today, he said he will visit China, India, and the United Kingdom to engage with several major companies and bring back best practices to Penang.
The forum featured several noted panellists and saw attendees engaging in a fruitful exchange of ideas.
