ENTOPIA by Penang Butterfly Farm is sponsoring 10,000 students from 200 local schools and learning institutions nationwide to take part in its Nature Learning Programme (NLP).

The initiative was part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaigns to mark the organisation’s 37th anniversary.

“The free NLP slots will be offered on a one-for-one basis until the end of this year. This is our way of showing our appreciation to all Malaysians for their support.

“Students can learn and appreciate nature through hands-on experience when they take part in the Entopia NLP.

“They can connect with the natural world as well as learn the world of insects and invertebrates.

“Insects and invertebrates play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of biodiversity,” Entopia said in a statement recently. Entopia celebrated its 37th anniversary on March 29 this year.

The organisation said the NLP would motivate students to be responsible citizens and take steps towards conserving the environment.

“We believe that all students should have access to learning opportunities, regardless of their financial background. We hope to make our programme accessible to more students by sponsoring 10,000 students to participate in our NLP,” Entopia said.

Entopia added that it is also giving away limited-edition enamel pins to customers for every purchase of two full-price adult tickets onsite from April 1, while stock last.

“These pins are our way of saying thank you to our loyal visitors who have supported us over the years, especially during the challenging Covid-19 pandemic period.”
