GEORGE Town Food Festival 2018 aims to showcase the best of Penang’s hawker food and cuisine.
Komtar assembly member Teh Lai Heng said this will also give opportunities for youngsters to develop Penang street foods.

Teh said this he officiated George Town Food Festival 2018 at the 7th Floor Car Park Area, 1st Avenue Mall Penang on July 28.
The two-day festival on July 28 & 29 will boost Penang’s tastiest food, desserts, cuisines, seasonal fruits and many other mouth-watering delicacies.
Teh said George Town Festival is the definite showcase of Penang’s best street food with more than 60 booths.
This festival is one of the iconic events at 1st Avenue Mall celebrating George Town listing as a World UNESCO Heritage Site.
“During the event, patrons will stand a chance to win mystery gifts with Happy Hour slated at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm,” Teh said.
Also present was managing director of Asia Mall Pte Ltd, Tan Kee Yong.
